hello cris i fish lake amistad. that hook pictured looks like it could work on alot of different soft-jerkbait plastics like slugos and assassins. the swimbait craze is allabout and so are the prices. i tell people that i fish with the original swimbaits before they became fancy and pricy$$. i’ve always managed to get away with simple softjerks with sizes 3″ to 7″. i tried to find that hook everywhere you listed with no luck. please send me model # or product name to find them. i really would appreciate that. my supply of 7″ magnum bass assassins is also started to dwindle if you know of any places that have those too that would be great as well. thanks.

Steve, I love those old style swimbaits too. They were just Slugos back then. I am not sure where you shop but no matter where you live, go to http://www.cabelas.com and type in “Swimbait hooks” in the search area. The first item you see is our Lazer Sharp hook kit. They will be carrying the smaller packs of hooks soon but the kit will get you started. Good luck on the Bass Assassin baits not sure on that one
